A/B Testing
What is A/B Testing?
A/B testing is a technique used in marketing and design to compare two versions of a web page or app to determine which one performs better. It involves randomly showing half of the users one version of the page (A) and the other half a slightly different version (B), then analyzing the results to determine which version leads to a higher conversion rate, click-through rate, or other desired outcome.
For example, an e-commerce website may use A/B testing to compare two different product page layouts to see which one leads to more purchases. By analyzing the data, they may find that a simple change in the placement of the "add to cart" button leads to a significant increase in sales.
A/B testing allows companies to make data-driven decisions about how to optimize their web pages and apps to achieve their business goals. By constantly testing and refining, they can improve the user experience and ultimately drive more revenue.
